Born in India in 1970, Shachindra Dass graduated in animation from the National Institute of Design, India, before moving to Finland. During his creative career, he has worked as animator, video artist, puppeteer, illustrator and cartoonist. Due to a variety of creative experiences he uses different mediums. He derives his art inspiration from nature, human interaction with the nature and human nature.
Since moving to Helsinki, Shachindra has been working with animation, video art and environmental art groups in Helsinki that exhibit artworks every year on the Helsinki shorelines.
